The goal of Service Coordination is to break down barriers between programs and services and integrate client supports. Community organizations are collaborating to develop a client-focused pathway through programs and services to increase success in employment and training.
Partners have been working together to provide opportunities for front-line staff to network with colleagues from various organizationsin all areas of human services. Networking allows front-line staff the ability to open the lines of communication, share information pertaining to their services as well as discuss best practices.
EOTB has also been able to share labour market information gathered through our EmployerOne survey and other statistical resources to front-line workers who assist clients in developing return-to-work action plans.
The referral process and form was created with the goal of increasing communication among front-line workers as well as enhancing timely and appropriate referrals between service providers to ensure the client receives the most suitable service. The service-to-service referral form can be found here.
